I have ADD, and have had a semester's worth of interning at the Specialized Language Development Center, working with kids who struggle with reading, writing, and comprehension. Kids brought to the center are usually dyslexic, ADD/ADHD, or have some type of learning disability, however, those without disabilities come for help too, ranging from kindergarden all the way to college level students.

As a recent college graduate (and current grad student), I am very much in tune with the subjects I am able to teach, and well versed in most fields of science. I graduated from the Honor's College at Xavier University, which required the completion of accelerated courses, even in areas outside my major. A Little Bit About Me...

I worked as a substitute teacher for a charter high school in St. Louis, MO directly out of undergrad. I taught most subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Algebra, History and Language Arts. I feel comfortable in my ability to teach most subjects and have no issue working in difficult classrooms as I have grown accustomed to such environments working in St. Louis.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have seen through substituting that there are many children who need extra attention to help them understand a certain subject.
