My comments on tutoring Spanish : I am not a native Spanish speaker, but I have been learning the language for many years, and I have a minor in it. I can help most with grammar, vocabulary,and reading.

My main goal is to help my students become more confident in their own abilities to learn material, improve skills, and express their ideas. I will not give anyone all the answers, and I will not do all the work for anyone, but I will help anyone to achieve his or her goals by providing the tools for success. I will never simply say that something is incorrect without explaining why. I try to center my students' interests in fun activities to make learning more exciting. If I can turn something into a game, I will!
I graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in English Literary and Cultural Studies and a minor in Spanish. While studying at the University of Oklahoma, I became interested in tutoring and helping those less fortunate. I began tutoring at a program called Tuesday Tutors which provides free-of-charge tutoring to all students Junior High level and above (although we often helped out Elementary students who stopped by). I also became active in ESL/Literacy tutoring. I tutored ESL for 7 months prior to graduating. I have now graduated with three Bachelor degrees and am now seeking a Master's in Philosophy.
