Throughout the two years I was involved, I regularly helped 6 students, along with 6 students that I met with irregularly. I also used positive Peer Culture for helping students to deal with their problems. I slso taught history at the school. I have 8 years experience; I worked for WSI teacher staffing for 3 yrs. and 5 yrs. for the Battle Creek School System in grades K-12 in most subjects
I create a positive atmosphere and help students to be responsible first to themselves and then to their community. I also try to make my students aware of their potiential and guide them in processing information by first understanding the context in which it is used. I typically try to match my teaching style to meet the needs of the particular student(s). I am familiar with many different approaches to teach literacy and math, including some exposure to occupational therapy, emotionally impaired, and LD appoaches to meet certain needs of some students.
