I have volunteered in a school district for just over 3 years and when I do volunteer I assist children in the classroom who have problems in their reading and math. By assisting these students they have improved on their tests as well as gaining confidence in their learning. I work really well one on one with the child who needs such assistance but also in small groups. If needed to assist a child online it can be done as long as there are materials available for the child that is provided by the school.

I always liked playing up my quirky personality. My favorite teachers and professors were the goofy ones, the ones who can relate to the students' fun side.
