A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching philosophy is simple, help students write to the best of their ability, give them the tools to engage in critical thinking, and challenge them to write about what they are interested in. Writing is clearly a skill that crosses majors, and is a critical skill in the workplace. I pride myself in being able to get students to see that writing is not only a practical skill, but also a lifelong skill.
I have over 19 years experiences teaching in Drexel University's First Year Writing Program. My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : I took a few Shakespeare courses when I minored in English. I have so many Shakespeare favorites, and know a lot more than just "Romeo & Juliet."

I have been writing since I was 10 years old. I have written for school papers, organized and contributed to yearbooks, performed and won oratorical writing contest. While in college I was nominated by my Creative Writing professor to become the Editor of the student literary magazine "Pegasus" at Delaware County Community College.
