Literature is one of my top subjects! I am NYS certified in Literacy (grades 5-12) and English (grades 7-12), although I have several years of experience with children as young as Kindergarten.

My comments on tutoring Literature : Teach literature towards proficiency in taking English Regents exam.

I have a varied style, which is geared to the learning style of my students. I teach world to text, text to text, text to life.
I was employed by the Lakeland Central School District as a substitute Teacher Aide and later in a full time capacity. I worked for the OASIS Program and later at the Alternative High School. After completing my Bachelor's Degree at Concordia College, I applied for and was accepted into the New York City Teaching Fellows Program. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated Pace University in 2009 with my degree in childhood education with a concentration in English. I tutored a 15 year old girl in her house for one year my last year of college. I also babysat for a 10 year old girl and 3 year old boy. I taught English in Spain in a high school last year and was currently teaching English to elementary school students in South America.
