Teaching is in my blood. Both my parents were teachers. My father was a college professor and my mother was an elementary school teacher. As a PSR working in the school setting I students that were considered by some as untrainable. Often the students believed they were unable to learn or were dumb since they had always been told they were. I was able to work with some of the most difficult. As a recent graduate form BYU-Idaho, I have gained a greater appreciation for how important it is to learn the basics of math and science in order to succeed. I have earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis in automation and robotics. The classes required to earn this degree have required an advanced understanding of linear Algebra, geometry, calculus, physics, and technical writing. I have always loved being around kids. I care about there well being and knowing that im someone they can look up to.
