After graduation from college, I entered the Peace Corps and moved to the country of the Federated States of Micronesia. I have lived in that area of the world for most of my teaching career. I have been a pastoral minister for 25 years, have taught refugees English as a Second Language, have taught community college courses as an adjunct instructor, have taught innumerable courses within the congregations I have served, including an after school tutoring program for young children.
