My comments on tutoring Praxis Exam : Experienced Praxis Math tutor. Expert at teaching how to use the College Board's official calculator off their own website to help you work smart, not hard...the key to high scores. Additionally, I teach all the underlying concepts that Praxis takers find super hard to keep straight, like combinations and permutations, how to tell the difference, and when to use each one (on the College Board's calculator to save time!)...statistics (all on the calculator to make it easy). Again, don't waste a lot of time learning the "right way" if what you need right away is a high score on the Math Praxis! We can always go back and learn the concepts you need after you get the score you want. Life is about to get so much better for you if you're stressing out over the Praxis!

I am currently employed by a college in Roanoke, Virginia as a tutor of mathematics, chemistry, and computer science and tutor elementary school, middle school, high school, college students, and others professionally. I have worked with children in a variety of settings for ten years. I worked in a preschool for 3 years and did an internship for four months as well as student teaching for sixteen weeks my senior year of college. I graduated Suma Cum Laude and then worked as a long term substitute in Roanoke City Schools. I then taught for one year in Roanoke City schools in a general education classroom. I am currently working as an instructional assistant.
