Tutor in the Austin Area for 10 years. Vendor in 'Tutorial Services' for a State Agency for five years. Helped students from 16 to 46 get to where they need to be. Helped students to achieve their goals, and become more efficient with their time and their abilities. I have a knack of making the complicated simple. Experienced, I can easily break down subjects to their essence. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe there is more than one way to accomplish a goal so I am not limited to only one certain teaching style. I will adapt to my client. A client may learn best while sitting and discussing subjects, another client may learn better if the subject can somehow become an activity and still other clients may absorb information a different way. I am prepared to adapt my approach to ensure my clients benefit from every session. I keep my clients informed about their progress, I do not get frustrated, and I am always patient with my clients so they feel comfortable enough to take initiative. I have over 25 years of experience as a high school and college English instructor. I have a bachelor degree in English education and a masters in liberal arts with 18 graduate hours in English. I began and operated my own private, fully accredited high school, test prep and tutoring companies.
I teach students from where they are! Sometimes there are gaps and holes in past learning that can be filled in before the student can soar. I am very personable, encouraging and understand how intimidating the blank page or the prospects of taking a standardized test can be.
