I try to use various activities and techniques when teaching to keep students interested. This also helps them (and me) to determine the way(s) that they learn best. I also like to ask the students first what they think the answer is or how a problem should be approached before feeding them a solution. I encourage questioning and discussions at every turn. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught classes for students ranging from high school to adult with course material from the very basic to highly advnced concepts. I was known for covering curriculum material in a through and patient manner. My teaching style could best be described as a pyrimid approach, a firm understanding of basic principles before moving to the next level of complexity.
I earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry with a minor in math.
