I customize my teaching style to best suit the individual students, I have the ability to explain the concepts logically, by proving the equiptions or graphically. I love helping the challenged student understand concepts that they assume that they will never understand.
I have 25 years experience in the civil engineering field, specifically the water resources area. I love to put myself in the students' shoes. I have the ability to relate to the students on an individual level and they respect me. I taught one semester of College Algebra at Illinois State University. I was responsible for 2 sections of lab while I completed graduate credits for a Master's in Mathematics. My B.S. in actuarial science (math) was attained from Bradley University.
