I believe the teacher needs to create a safe learning environment, explore different learning styles, and always keep in mind Bloom's Taxonomy.(yes, the fundamentals are still important) I prefer to teach students the curriculum, not teach curriculum to the students. I graduated with a Bachelor's in English from Troy University Dothan in December 2009. Since I opted for a Bachelor's in English rather than a Bachelor's in Secondary English Education, I took more writing and literature classes. In all of my English Literature classes, I had numerous writing assignments that helped me learn how to write.
