As part of my undergraduate degree I taught English to adults. I taught English in Korea for one year before enrolling in my Masters of Education program. During the program I had two student teacher placements. My first placement was in a middle school mathematics class and my second placement was in a self-contained 5th grade classroom.

I introduce every new math idea in the purest conceptual form, and then I show the student the practical use they can apply in their homework or on tests.
