Math and Science Tutor high school to college age.

Tutored for about ten years as needed. Experience with high school and college math and science. I am working toward a nursing degree and intend to complete a degree in mathematics education for high school ages. My past tutoring experience has included all high school math and Calculus 1 for college, for science I have experience in tutoring chemistry primarily. However, I'm comfortable tutoring in anatomy and physiology if the need arises.

Science is similar to math where it is important to practice problems. At University of Cincinnati, despite being a full-time graduate student, I was serving at the Math Learning Center for nine hours as a tutor and a grader for three classes. I tutored Calculus, Method Matrixes, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. Undergraduate students always showed up to get a solution for their homework. I was always telling them I am not going to give you just a correct final answer but I’ll teach you a way to solve problems. I insisted on the scientific reasoning and mathematical rigor for example I didn’t allow them to work on particular cases without knowing the general definition.
