I’ve recently graduated in from Albright College with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. Despite my degree in the sciences, I attended a liberal arts college where I took a wide array of classes. Because I attended a liberal arts college I have many interests and a range of skills. Ever since I can remember I have enjoyed mathematics and problems solving. It has been my strength throughout high school and college. I have also enjoyed working with and being around children. I have a strong business background, with an MBA, CPA, and CIA. However, as a student at Susquehanna University, I also volunteered at least 2 days a week at a local preschool where I helped teach the students. In addition, I worked at a local elementary after-school program 2 days a week. I am currently pursuing my teaching certification through Drexel University. While I enjoy business, working with children is my passion, hence why I am pursuing my teaching certification. I believe the best way to teach students any skill is to let them have hands on experience with it. As an example, in order to learn business skills, students need to practice the skills and understand their relevance in the real world.
