My background includes teaching at the elementary level and at the adult education level, especially literacy. I spent 10 years directing an adult literacy program where I trained volunteers to be tutors and tutored myself. I graduated from Monmouth College with a B.A Degree in Mathematics while being a four-year starter and two-year football team captain.
