My comments on tutoring Government : I have a Political Science minor in secondary education and enjoy government studies.

My experience in education has been wide and full of variety. I began working as a linguistics tutor for the university. I worked with several students over the course of the two years in which I worked for the department. I began my field work at Mt. Morris Junior High School performing my observations. I completed my student teaching at Lapeer West High School, before graduating with a BA in Secondary Education. I use a variety of teaching styles while instructing students. Alternating between styles helps to keep minds engaged and participation at a maximum. When covering content I use many examples that relate to real life, that way students can relate it to something they have experienced or seen. I also like performing small-scale experiments and labs. I will use power point presentations as well as the overhead for drawings, notes, and discussion. There are many websites that I make use of, the websites that I use are usually hands on and require students to think and solve problems on their own.
