I always wanted to become a math teacher, but in order to become one in a communist regime; you had to be a member in the Romanian Communist Party. So, I obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineer (172 credit hours). I was working as a designer in Romania and had in parallel a private math and physics tutoring business. As a homeschooler from fifth grade through high school, I learned the value of personalized instruction. My passion for learning the sciences led me to a double major in chemistry and mechanical engineering. While completing my degrees, I have been granted several opportunities to tutor in chemistry, mathematics, calculus, and the engineering sciences.
