I like to stay relaxed and have fun, telling a few jokes along the way. It's hard to learn things if you're not interested, and even more so if you're struggling with it! I push students a bit once I'm sure they understand something, and I always try to get them to be at their very best.
I have been doing Physics for 7 years, and can't think of anything I would rather be doing! My comments on tutoring Pre-Algebra : Introduction to algebra can be daunting to children. All those mysterious symbols can be very confusing. I am a gentle and supportive teacher and I put students at ease. Once the anxiety subsides, most kids learn rapidly.

I have logged over 5,000 hours of tutoring in the last four years. I have worked for a game company, which taught me how to approach tests as a contest between student and test-maker, and my extensive background as a writer gives me practical experience when it comes to teaching English and related subjects.
