While attending Bates College, I was motivated academically to achieve the best education possible. I sought out teachers who inspired me to work harder and enjoyed participating in chapel services, community service activities and participating in competitive sporting events. During school vacations, I explored jobs that followed my academic strengths. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate from one of the top Liberal Arts schools in New England, I helped tutor college students in English Composition for one semester. Before I changed my major, I was Secondary English Education, which translates into training to be a high school English teacher. I substituted and did my practicum which gives me about a year's worth of experience. I have a passion for reading and writing that I would love to share with a struggling student or students. I also play multiple instruments and could help teach that as well.
