How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher. Because of my love of learning I taught all my siblings how to read. I know it is pretty funny but it is a true story. During my undergraduate studies, I was involved in various tutoring/mentoring organizations on campus. I served as a mentor for local area children ages 8-14 as part of an after-school "big buddy" program. During my junior and senior years, I tutored newer students in math, science, and engineering courses.
