While in law school I mentored and tutored first year law students along with students at a neighboring high school. I guided first year law students as to which supplemental books to buy, how to decipher a court's ruling and how to respond to a professor's question. I tutored the high school students in Algebra and Literature, all of which I took as an Advanced Placement student, along with studying skills. Further, during the past year I was a high school math tutor with a Kentucky tutoring company in which I tutored mostly Algebra. With that being said, I would welcome the opportunity to tutor students again. First, I evaluate the student's comprehension of the subject at issue and how the student achieved his/her conclusion, which gives me an insight as to how to approach teaching the student.
