A Little Bit About Me...

I like to teach students not only the material but also how to study in general. I am sure learning how to study will help students throughout their lives.
I am a current international (korean), sophomore Economics major student at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. I have taught students since I was in high school. I have several tutoring experiences from volunteering at Churches in the DC metropolitan area to private 1 on 1 tutoring. I enjoy teaching a lot, and I really love it when students come to me with happy faces after doing well on their tests. I am able to teach different subjects, but my strongest area is math, especially algebra. I also like to teach English (2310 on SAT - 730 Reading, 780 Writing, 800 Math). My comments on tutoring Algebra I : I took Algebra I my Freshman year of high school I received A's and B's for the quarter and a B for the whole year.

I am currently a senior at Sherando High School in Stephens City, VA. I have always been and A and B student. I currently have a 3.5 GPA and received a 1300 on my SATs. I love to help others out in any way possible. I love to meet new people and help them achieve in school so they can a have promising future! I have taken Honors World History I and II, I have taken College Prep English 11 and am currently in College Prep English 12. I am in my high school’s Marching band and Symphonic band; I play the clarinet and bass clarinet, and have been in band for 7 years.
