From Russia, learned English in America, as well as Spanish. Took lessons in college, received straight "A"s in all. Language is very much based on experience, therefore I know how to teach because that is how I learned. If needed, before the first tutoring session, I can provide my lesson plan. Russian is one of my top subjects! Mother tongue

I have moved to the United States when I was 17. I have graduated high school in Ukraine and was accepted into the best university in Kyiv - Shevchenko's University. While the major focus was always on Ukrainian, Russian is also my native language, with an extensive vocabulary and use of both formal and slang versions of the language. I have graduated FSU which sharpened my English, so now I am able to provide high quality Russian/Ukrainian tutoring.
My teaching method requires initial assessment of your knowledge of Russian/Ukrainian, figuring out where you plan to apply the skills and constructing a teaching plan that suits your needs. I am available to travel to your home or you are welcome to stop by mine. I could also teach via Skype or any other apps your find comfortable.

My teaching style is based more on conversations and some basic grammar, however, everything is individual and negotiable.
I am native Russian and Kazakh speaker and English -Russian technical translator. I had experience of teaching Russian to foreigners for three years in Kazakhstan, Kazakh as well. I like to work both with adults and children. I like more offline tutoring than online, which I think is much more efficient and fun.

While living overseas in both Ukraine and Mexico I taught ESL through a non-profit organization for 4 1/2 years. In addition to teaching beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes to students of all ages, I did extensive one on one tutoring with students, and eventually conducted all new teacher training. In Ukraine I volunteered at an orphanage where I taught Bible lessons to children who suffered with mental illnesses, learning disabilities, and other consequences of severe abuse. Upon my return to Florida, I joined my church staff as a minister to middle school students, and taught regularly for 1 ½ years. Additionally I have tutored students in ESL, Spanish, Russian, and GED preparation.
