My comments on tutoring American History : I am personally interested in American History and love to teach the subject.

I believe in meeting a student at whatever level he or she is ready to work. I am friendly and like to develop a personal relationship with my students in order to know how to serve them better. I use technology as appropriate.
I began my career teaching music to students in grades K-8. I have always loved the Special Needs students and thus chose to pursue my Master's degree in the Special Education field. This can be different for every student, and the tutor needs to adjust to the student. A tutor has to be able to do this or the student will not be any better off.
