I earned both of my degrees while working and caring for very young children. I feel this was possible because of my time management skills and determination to see a task through to completion. I have worked in the accounting or banking industry for over thirty years and truly love working with numbers. I fell in love with accounting in high school, finishing the semester project in about a month and a half and never looked back. I also feel that many of the concepts that accounting teaches are valuable in life even if accounting is not the career path chosen.

This is the way all of my football coaches did things each year, they taught football stance at the beginning of August no matter the player's experience. Some students find this condescending but it usually progresses fast enough to reach their skill level without offending. I have always found that starting at the bottom prevents misunderstanding as you build toward the top. I enjoy teaching because it helps to sharpen my skills and also enjoy watching other students perform well. There is no greater reward than watching the light come on in a pupil's mind.
