A Little Bit About Me...

I have my BA in social science and a Master's in counseling. I have been in the field of education for twenty years. I have taught in mostly middle and high school and am currently teaching psychology at Mid Michigan Community College. I have worked with youth in many different capacities. I have worked with 4-H, public schools, college, and volunteered in many areas. I am dedicated to and passionate about education and the process of learning. I have good realtionships with my students and they trust that I have their best interests at hand. While I understand that learning is serious, it should also be fun. I value the importance of learning and believe that I convey that to those I teach.

Passion to teach students to be successful!

As a Graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, I have obtained a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Minors in Math and Biology. I have gained knowledge in most of the sub-sets on those subjects as well as High School or College entry level in most other academic subjects. My comments on tutoring English : I have taught this subject at Skeels Christian School for both Middle and High School. Within the boundaries of English, I have taught composition, creative writing, Shakespeare, grammar, and spelling.

I have my teaching degree in English and History from Saginaw Valley State University and have done my student teaching at Skeels Christian Schools where my class sizes ranged from thirteen to six students. I am used to a more one-on-one teaching experience and have taught every grade in middle and high school.
