I find that each person has a different learing style and try to find out what works for them. I also teach them that organization of thoughts and ideas are helpful in how they approach learning. I relate the subject matter to what is needed to learn and to something that they can relate to. I believein repetition and that all people can learn if someone takes the time to find out their individual learning style. I have been a foster and adoptive parent for many years, and I have provided classroom and one-on-one instruction to students with many learning styles, both as a parent and as a professional instructor. I have worked with many students, ranging in age from young children to adult learners, including those with special learning needs. I have excellent writing, grammar, and research skills, and I have written many reports as part of my own academic training and through my work. I have also developed curriculum for remedial academic instruction for adult learners.
