I have always had a love for science, which prompted me to pursue a BS in biology and MS in microbiology. While doing so, I was able to acquire experience instructing biology labs for undergraduate students. After graduate school, I gained a stronger understanding of science while working in clinical and research microbiology labs. I like to teach all age levels. The satisfaction that comes from working with a student, one on one, who is struggling, and seeing them change from angry and insecure to confident and proud is immense. I haven't found it anywhere else. As a teacher, my initial goal is to discover how to facilitate the individual learning styles of my students.
