After teaching for 12 years, I decided to step away from the classroom in order to spend more time with my own two kids. I taught in both Rochester City and Brighton, with kids in grades 7-12. Many of my students struggled in school for all different reasons. I would love the opportunity to work with you. School can be really frustrating, but it doesn't have to be. I graduated from Finger Lakes Community College with an AA in Elementary Education. I passed the NYS Teacher's Assistant Skills Test in 2006. I worked at BOCES as a tutor. I tutored high school, middle school and elementary school students. I also worked in the BOCES classrooms as a teacher's aide. I worked at BOCES for 3 years. I also worked at Happiness House as a substitute residential aide, and my duties included helping young residents with their homework and reading with them.
