I am a patient person. I spend as much time as some needs to to understand the subject at hand. I let people go at their own pace and do not mind repeating myself for someone who needs it. In undergrad, I was somewhat of a perfectionist looking for a way to help others. I found that being a tutor and a supplemental instructor allowed me to help others in ways I could never imagine. I became a California Reading and Learning Certified tutor and supplemental instructor in 2008 with a program called the Center for Academic Success at the small liberal arts college I was attending and recieved students asking for help in classes including english, college writing seminars, chemistry, and math. As a result of my help, the students' grades raised from F's to A's, B's and C's over time. I loved helping them and they appreciated me helping them.
