A Little Bit About Me...

My name is Kary Heath. I graduated valedictorian from Luther High School in the spring of 2014. I am in my second semester at the University of Oklahoma and currently have 38 hours of college credit. I am currently maintaining a 4.0. I am an education major. I chose to pursue education because a large portion of my immediate family is teachers, including my parents and several of my aunts, uncles and grandparents. I graduated with an ACT score of 34, which awarded me the State Regents' Scholarship. I was also a National Merit Qualifier with a PSAT score of 204 in 2013. My comments on tutoring Poetry : My undergraduate English capstone course was in poetry. I cannot write it, but I can analyze it and write ABOUT it.

I graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in English Literary and Cultural Studies and a minor in Spanish. I have taught ESL conversation classes for almost three years now, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (also at OU). I have helped many people with over 100 essays, and I worked as a Writing Assistant in the OU Honors College Writing Center for one year, helping students in a wide variety of classes to improve not only their individual essays but also their overall writing abilities. I went to North Georgia College & State University, were I earned a BA in English, and an MA in Public Administration.
