My experience as a math tutor ranges from middle school level to adult. I graduated in high standing with a bachelors and masters degree in engineering. I worked as an engineer for four years and then decided to go into the teaching field. A Little Bit About Me...

Although I have no formal teaching experience, I do have been developing my teaching style for many years while I worked with the developmentally disabled. I learned to identify a teachable moment, which is a time at which the student would be most receptive to learning. As a tutor, I would create those moments and boost confidence by encouraging the student to explore the subject in the way that is most interesting to them.
