I really enjoy teaching the writing process.I love working with all children, and I firmly believe that all children can learn to become great writers when they find out what the discipline expects of them. I am very patient and considerate of childrens needs; as some are hands on learners, some are visual learners, some need a scaffolding approach to writing, or simply need to know organizational approaches to writing...so I attempt to meet the student where they are in the learning process and provide them the nurturing approach, and healthy environment. I have a long history of tutoring experience along with substitute teaching at The Baylor School in Chattanooga from 2000 until 2008 and prior to that at various private homes for 2 years. I have a BA degree in Economics/International Studies/French from the University of TN – Chattanooga, a certificate in French from the Sorbonne in Paris and 23 hours in English from Arizona State University. I also have graduate work in non-profit management with a concentration in fundraising.
