I have enjoyed each experience I have had with teaching, beginning with an informal position as a study group leader in the Genetics course I completed at Penn State University. While working on my MS at the University of Tennessee, I taught lecture and outdoor laboratory sessions for the Ornithology course, which included about 30 students. Every job I've ever had has been one where I teach. I had a job 3 years teaching ballroom dance, 2 years I coached T-ball, and for 4 years I've tutored math.
