I currently work at an Hillsborough County day care program where I spend every weekday helping them with their homework, reading to them, and etc. I've also tutored serveral elementary students that live in my neighborhood in subjects like math, grammar, and reading. I work very well with kids, and I love to make learning fun for them, especially in my styles of helping. Upon enrolling my children in school, I decided to be an active part of their education. So, I assisted their teachers with everything I could. Eventually, I became a trusted part of the school system (an honorary teacher, so to speak). They began giving me more responsibilities, concerning the children of the school. I have been in the child care field for over 25 years. I have 4 children of my own. I am currently attending HCC in pursuit of my bachelors degree in elementary education.
