Currently I have students from 2 years old to 55 years old. Most of my adult students can carry the basic conversation in Mandarin after taking the class for 20 hours. Some of them can write the short essay without problems. I believe that everyone can learn Mandarin even though many people think it's a very difficult language. You just need to find the right teacher, right method.

My favorite part of tutoring/teaching is the moment when you can see the proverbial "lightbulb" go off in a students mind.
