A Little Bit About Me...

I have always loved school and find that I miss it at times. Because of that I jump at the chance to help those who need it. I college I helped other students who had math and physics classes. I have learned the skills that I needed to both learn and remember and have helped others to do so also. My best friend's little brother is dyslexic and I have helped him throughout high school and now in college. I am very easy going, patient, a problem-solver. Having two wonderful elementary teachers, I was inspired to become a teacher. I graduated in 1988 with an Elementary Education degree. I began my career as a teacher's aide but soon decided to be a stay-at-home mom to my two children. In 1994, I began to home teach my three children. I graduated my youngest in 2008. In 2004, I substitute taught for two local school districts. In spring 2008 I renewed my teaching license. I received my first teaching job at a Christian school in Indianapolis where I taught first grade. The school downsized so I resigned allowing the tenured teachers to keep their jobs.
