I graduated from one of the top ranked schools in the nation for education, Miami University (Ohio). I earned my bachelor's degree there. I have been teaching children that have learning disabilities for ten years. I also have worked with children that have severe emotional problems. I will be graduating from Grand Canyon University in December with my master's degree in special education. For the past few years I have been tutoring an eighth grader in grammar and poetry.

I have had a lot of past experience when it comes to tutoring. I have tutored many people of various ages from children all the way to college students, relatively. The most important thing to me in teaching anyone anything is finding out what level they are currently at. In order to learn something, take something in and understand it, one must have something already to attach it to in their minds. Being that I have graduated from both Concordia College and Ivy Tech Community, I have found that I am well prepared in providing services to young children.
