I have taught both children and adults private piano lessons. I taught history and other subjects for 2 1/2 years as a daily and long-term substitute teacher in secondary schools. For one year I directed a public library story-time program for preschool children. I worked two years as a middle school Library Media instructor. While living overseas in both Ukraine and Mexico I taught ESL through a non-profit organization for 4 1/2 years. In addition to teaching beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes to students of all ages, I did extensive one on one tutoring with students, and eventually conducted all new teacher training.
