I believe in good classroom management and organized lesson plans. I set appropriate boundaries and expect the students to follow the rules that are set before them. That being said I try to make the learning as fun as possible but organized. I also try to bring in anything that they are interested in to make them enjoy the subject they are learning. If I can find an example in life they can relate to that will help them learn something I will find it and bring it in. I love working with children and really love math.
Although I have been self employed for the last 6 years, I went back to school last year to add Science and Math for middle school to my certification. I am very excited about teaching. I beleive that it is my time to give back and hopefully encourage someone that is ready to give up. I believe all children can learn and each has a different technique to register the information. My goal is to provide the best education and listen to the child.
Since I was a teen I have always wanted to be a teacher. I am presently enroll at Converse College in the Master Program. I am very driven to become a certified teacher. On June 12, I will be taken the teacher certification exam. I have earned a Bachelors in Business, an Associate in Arts and a Diploma in Computer Operations. These degrees have provided me many opporunities for advancement with previous employees. Recently, the company I was working for closed, this has allowed me to persue my life long dream. I have been substitute teaching and I love it.
