A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught Sunday School for 28 years in the kindergarten area. I have trained numerous PC users over the last ten years in general PC usage and various software packages. I have the leadership skills and can keep pace with the increasing speed of technology. I enjoy serving others and watching people increase their knowledge and skills levels.
In the past 28 years I have enjoyed watching the young kindergarten student grow and learn. I believe that all children can learn, but as adults we have to allow them to learn at their pace. Each child learns in different ways, some by seeing, some by example, and some by doing. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching since 1986. I have taught in the healthcare field through a Vocational Technical Institute, University and Private Education Center. I am currently applying for the Master's Program in Education at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. I hope to begin in the Fall. I have had experience teaching all levels of learners and have the patience to help anyone. I have tutored many people with anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, EKG and english courses. During and after earning my degree, I spent almost nine years working in healthcare as a medical assistant, teaching patients in a one on one environment. Most recently I was an Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor. I have given training presentations to groups from as small as three to as large as sixty. During this school year, I have worked as a substitute teacher for Calvary Christian Academy.I was involved in 4-H for 9 years. Through that opportunity I was instilled with a passion for community service. I have also volunteered as co-leader of church youth group and for the past two years worked as a helper in the classes for ages 10-13 in the AWANA Club at Calvary Baptist Church in Ozark.
