A Little Bit About Me...

I am a University of Chicago graduate in English with a minor in Environmental Studies. I have always had a strong interest in and affinity for mathematics and the sciences, particularly Earth Sciences, and I am very familiar with Environmental Law in particular. A Little Bit About Me...

One of the most favorable things that I love to do is helping children to gain more understanding in their academics. Because I have such a strong passion for teaching and children, I love to help others succeed and would do whatever it takes to do so. My teaching involves incorporating many games into lesson plans to grasp my students attention, thus making the lesson fun also. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from North Park University, summa cum laude. I have earned a BGS in Human Development which has enabled me to understand the cultural, social and psychological dynamics of human development. While at NPU, I served as a private humanities tutor and strived to help students achieve their academic goals. For the past year and half, I have volunteered my time at Gilda’s Club Chicago and have worked closely with men, women, and children who are diagnosed with cancer. I primarily served as a facilitator in the children’s school and coordinated play activities for children and adolescents. I am currently enrolled in a M.ED program for Special Education at UIC to further my education and work with children and adults in the community. Given my volunteer experience and the nature of my prior education, I believe that I will be well-suited to this institution.
