Experienced as an instructor teaching CPR, First Aid, swimming, and lifeguarding courses to individuals or classes of up to 30 students. Proficient in math, science, and test taking skills. I truly enjoy teaching others, as I have worked as a mentor in engineering camps and in the freshman dormitories at Arizona State University, as well as worked as a residenial assistant in the freshman dormitories. I like helping students understand larger concepts in a simpler way using tricks I have found helpful, connecting the big picture at the end. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in identifying the learning style of the student which can take some time with some. Are they a visual learner I draw pictures, maps, charts and video; if an audio learner tapes, lecture, youtube, video, etc,.. and if a kinesthetic learner then they need the hands on experience to develop the learning that is needed, so then standing back to guide the thought process without doing it for them.
I started as an Adjunct Instructor at ISU for the Geomatics Engineering program for the 2007-2008 school year. Prepare for class setup the curriculum, homework, grading and test for 10-12 students. I went to ITT Technical Institute following that and was offered to Chair School of Drafting & Design. I taught and ran the department for 2 years. I was in charge of 4-10 teachers and 170+ students.
