I have tutored my son and his friends on diversified school subjects and other subjects that interest them but were not required by school. Also have experience mentoring work colleagues as a hobby. I am a very curious person that researches different subjects constantly. I believe that learning anything becomes easier when you discover how to personally connect with the subject at hand and understand the importance of it for your life as a student, but more importantly for your everyday life and future carrier.
I believe each person has his/hers own set of personal skills on how to learn. To me it is essential to figure out what that personal preference is and adapt the subjects to be learned into the person's mental framework.
