My first work experience began with counseling Severely Emotionally Disturbed children and their families. If a child has a great visual memory, I use various manipulatives, charts, graphs to teaching the subject. If my student is very auditory, I articulate myself and teach through delivering information orally. For younger students teaching may be successful if it's in the form of the game. Teaching young children takes dedication and respect. As a teacher, parent, tutor, cargiver, or whatever role one is in a young child's early years is also an example and a role model. Children have to trust you, feel comfortable with you, and must like you in order for them to respond to you.
