I've been a teacher's unofficial little helper since I was in Elementary, helping the students of my class that the teacher simply didn't have the extra time to help. I retired from a class A school district in Michigan where I was basically the theatre department. I ran an active program for the high school, and produced two to three major plays a year. A Little Bit About Me...

I taught for 8 years in a Title 1 Elementary school in North Fort Myers. The population was and still is over 90% free and reduced lunch. I taught 4th and 5th grades for 4 years and then taught science as an exploratory to all of the students for 4 years. I developed my curriculum for all grade levels in science, connected them to the building block and Sunshine State Standards, and created assessments. Currently, I am teaching Life Science to 7th graders at a Cape Coral middle school which is 5 miles form my home.
