I have been an elementary teacher for more than 25 years; 10 of those years I taught gifted children. I enjoy helping students improve their writing skills. In college, I majored in print journalism. I was an editor at a student newspaper for about six months. In addition to assigning articles and posting articles on the Internet, I mentored other journalism students. I helped them improve their style and grammar. After graduating, I began work at a weekly newspaper. I started out as a news and feature writer, but was promoted to a news and copy editor after several months. A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned a bachelor of science degree in General Science, which means I have a very good understanding of many topics including: Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Computers, and Arts. I have experience in being a leader of 10-16 people in the military as an officer. I enjoyed teaching people of their oppurtunities in furthering their education. During late nights I tutored friends in Calculus and Biology.
We all have different views, and I would like to find that gateway into the minds of children so that they can see and understand more. I use different methods for each individual.
