ASVAB is one of my top subjects! For over eight years I have extensively tutored all of the topics covered by the math section of the ASVAB exam, helping students pass the exam and achieve their goal of joining the U.S. military. I have helped students learn the ASVAB basics such as arithmetic and fractions all the way up through geometry and statistics. I am very familiar with the ASVAB math exam content and testing strategies that can be used. Additionally, I have taken many different ASVAB math practice exams and always achieved extremely high scores. Please note that I only tutor ASVAB math (Arithmetic Reasoning and Mathematics Knowledge) at this time.

For over nine years I have extensively tutored all of the topics covered by the math section of the Praxis exam, including Praxis Core Math (5732) and Praxis Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects, Mathematics Subtest (5001/5003). Over the past two years, I took the Praxis Core Math test four times and the Multiple Subjects Test: Mathematics Subtest two times and achieved a perfect score each time. I am very familiar with the exam content, have excellent practice resources, and offer effective testing strategies. I have helped many struggling students pass their exams. My comments on tutoring ASVAB : 5 years exp

15 Years as High School Math teacher and 15 years as College Instructor. ! Math is one of my top subjects! Teaching is an Art, not any person can be a good teacher. My comments on tutoring ASVAB : Arithmetic Reasoning can be difficult. The secret is to "decode" the words and change the English to Math. The key is to find the formula that the word problems are built around.

The ASVAB AR is made up of only about 15 major types of problems. 90% require you to know the formula to solve the problem. For example a PERCENTAGE PROBLEM Is usually solved using this formula: % / 100 = Part / Whole. You can plug- in the values and solve for the missing "x". I can give you ALL of the formulas you will need on the Arithmetic Knowledge Section. We also review techniques for excelling on the PC, MK and WK sections of the ASVAB.
I have over five years tutoring asvab students. I can help you with asvab math formulas and difficult problems. The best way to improve your score is to get a tutor, take a lot of tests and give yourself enough time to study and learn different techniques.
